While the C700 is less common than the Alexa Mini, it has been used on several high-profile projects, often chosen for its internal ND filters, reliable codecs (ProRes, XF-AVC, and optional RAW), and global shutter option (C700 GS).
Before this camera, shooting RAW usually meant tethering a bulky external recorder (like a Codex or Odyssey) to the back of your rig. The C700 was among the first to popularize internal RAW recording onto CFast cards.
