Chapelwaite is a prequel to Stephen King’s 1978 short story "Jerusalem's Lot" (collected in Night Shift ). It is an adaptation of King’s novel ‘Salem’s Lot (about vampires), but rather a deep dive into the 19th-century history that cursed the town.
The story revolves around Stephen DeMarco (played by Owain Yeoman), a man who returns to his family's ancestral home, Chapelwaite, in New England with his wife, Claire (played by Uma Thurman), and their three children.
