In current builds (including the True Story updates), you can unlock the gallery through standard gameplay or by using developer-provided "passwords" at the start screen.
Gallery Mode unlocks character artwork, costumes, and CGs (illustrations) you can view outside gameplay. This guide assumes default in-game mechanics: earn points by completing missions, story progress, and unlocking achievements to populate the gallery.
