Professional bio (short) June Liu Zia is an interdisciplinary researcher and designer focused on human-centered AI and sustainable systems. Her work bridges user experience research, data-driven product strategy, and participatory design methods to create accessible digital services. Recent projects include a privacy-first conversational agent for public services and a community-led toolkit for low-resource energy monitoring. She holds an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction and has presented at ACM conferences.

Prior to the Seattle Foundation, she spent several years in fund development for community-based organizations.
