The film tells the story of Choo Wol-po (played by Song Joong-ki), a 18-year-old boy who's been cursed to transform into a werewolf. As a child, Wol-po was abandoned by his parents and left to fend for himself on the streets. But when he's taken in by a kind-hearted woman named Oh Ae-ryung (played by Park Min-young), he finds a sense of belonging and purpose.
