Device anatomy & indicators

Front: Power LED, Powerline (PLC) LED, Ethernet LED(s). Side/Bottom: Pair button (for secure network pairing), Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ‑45), PoE output (if separate), vents, product label with model & serial.

Indicator behavior

Power LED: Solid = powered; Off = no power. Powerline LED: Solid = PLC link established; Blinking = pairing or data activity; Off = no PLC link. Ethernet LED: Solid = link; Blinking = activity; Off = no Ethernet connection.

Quick setup (prescriptive)

Plug adapter A into a wall outlet near your router. Connect adapter A to the router using the supplied Ethernet cable. Plug adapter B into a wall outlet in the room where you need network/PoE. Avoid power strips, surge protectors, and outlets with noise filters. If needed, press Pair on adapter A for 1–2 seconds, then press Pair on adapter B within 2 minutes. Wait until Powerline LEDs on both devices turn solid. Connect a device to adapter B via Ethernet. If using PoE, connect the powered device to the PoE port (confirm device PoE class/requirements). Confirm Ethernet LED on adapter B is solid/blinking indicating link and traffic. Ethernet LED: Solid = link; Blinking = activity;

Notes: For multi‑adapter networks, repeat pairing procedure to add each adapter to the same logical group. Use separate network group IDs to isolate networks if supported. Placement & wiring tips

Plug directly into a wall outlet (not surge protectors/power strips). Avoid outlets that share between circuits separated by transformers/UPS or large appliances. Maximum performance on same electrical phase; cross‑phase or long wiring reduces throughput. Keep adapters away from heavy electrical noise sources (microwaves, fluorescent lights, motor drives).
