The movie revolves around the story of Chandu (played by Manoj Bajpayee), a small-time crook who operates in the streets of Mumbai. Chandu's life takes a dramatic turn when he meets a young cop, Anjali (played by Sharmila Tagore lookalike, but actually Antara Mali and then replaced by Chitrangda Singh in an extended cameo), who tries to apprehend him. However, their encounter leads to a cat-and-mouse game that changes the course of their lives.
